Kathmandu, November 26, 2024 — The Asia Pacific Regional Conference (APRC) on Climate Response, Innovation, and Prosperity commenced today in Kathmandu, marking an essential platform for collaboration among experts, practitioners, and stakeholders across the region. Hosted by the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) Nepal and Imagine Nepal, the conference runs from November 26 to 28, 2024, at Pension Vasana, Dillibazar.This three-day event focuses on critical themes such as Climate Emergency and Response, Meaningful Engagement for Happiness, Well-being, and Prosperity, and Social Discourse and Innovation for Community Transformation. The conference aims to generate actionable insights and strategies to address the pressing climate challenges facing the Asia Pacific region.
In his opening remarks, Rupendra Maharjan, General Secretary of Imagine Nepal, highlighted the importance of the conference. “We are proud to host this regional gathering, bringing together voices and ideas that will drive meaningful action for climate resilience and community prosperity,” he stated.
The event also features a World Café session, fostering discussions on the intersectionality of climate resilience, prosperity, and social discourse.
