Kathmandu, Magh 24: Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd. successfully conducted its 9th and 10th Annual General Meetings (AGMs) today at Celebration Height, Sukedhara, Kathmandu. The meetings, initially scheduled for Magh 15, were postponed due to insufficient quorum as per Section 73 of the Companies Act, 2063, and the company’s bylaws.
Rescheduled by the company’s board during its 27th meeting on Magh 15, the AGMs recommenced from where they were adjourned. The agenda items originally set for discussion and decision were addressed during the session.
The company also facilitated participation through proxy representatives, allowing shareholders unable to attend in person to appoint authorized proxies to represent them at the meeting.
The successful conclusion of the AGMs marks an important milestone for Joshi Hydropower as the company continues to focus on its growth in the renewable energy sector. The resolutions passed during the meeting are expected to drive the company’s operational and strategic objectives forward.
