He highlighted the significant role private medical colleges play in advancing public health and urged the government to recognize these contributions.
Prof. Dr. Ansari outlined the institution's active participation in government health initiatives, including the Gokarneshwar Municipality Health Program, Social Security Health Program, Employee Provident Fund Health Program, and other insurance and support schemes for the underprivileged. He affirmed the college's dedication to providing quality healthcare and producing skilled medical professionals while promoting research and innovation in the field.
The college has announced plans to further enhance its services by establishing a Cath Lab for cardiac care and expanding oncology services for cancer treatment in the upcoming fiscal year. Additionally, advanced medical equipment, including a 3.5 Tesla MRI and a 128-slice CT scan, will be installed in the coming months.
Prof. Dr. Ansari noted the successful implementation of plans presented during last year’s general meeting, including the completion of a new building for the Dental College, the upgrade of its laboratory from C-grade to B-grade, and the establishment of a 24-hour blood bank within the hospital premises. He expressed confidence that these developments would elevate the institution’s educational and healthcare standards.
Managing Director Dr. Sabiha Yasmin highlighted the steady progress in educational, healthcare, and administrative reforms at the college, attributing the success to collective efforts. She called for continued collaboration and positive suggestions to help the institution reach new heights.
Other board members, including Dr. Bhola Rijal, Dr. Anand Prasad Shrestha, and Shahnawaz Ansari, reiterated the importance of teamwork in driving the college forward.
