Kathmandu Technical School (KTS) in partnership with major cable car operators including Chandragiri Hills Ltd, Kathmandu; Maulakali Cable Car, Gaindakot; Lumbini Cable Car – Butwal Hill, Butwal; Jalpadevi Cable Car, Kailali; and Pathibhara Cable Car, Taplejung, has announced an exciting opportunity for those looking to start a career in the growing ropeway and cable car industry.
With the slogan "Be Skilled, Be Employed," KTS is offering specialized training programs aimed at equipping candidates with the necessary skills to work in this sector. The initiative promises not just training, but also potential job placements with collaborating companies, making it an excellent opportunity for locals and freshers.
“Cable cars and ropeways are becoming essential transportation solutions, particularly in Nepal's hilly terrain. This training will open doors for those who are interested in engineering, mechanics, and electricians' roles within this growing industry,” said a representative from KTS.
The training will focus on equipping participants with practical skills and knowledge relevant to the operation and maintenance of cable cars. Upon successful completion, candidates will be considered for job placement with one of the partnering companies, based on their performance and company requirements.
