Kathmandu, Nepal – In a formal program held in Kathmandu, President Ram Chandra Paudel underscored the urgent need for the Government of Nepal to prioritize sustainable peace, good governance, social justice, and the creation of an equitable society as outlined in the nation's Constitution.
Speaking at the event where the annual report for the fiscal year 2080/81 was presented, the President emphasized that these goals can only be achieved through the effective mobilization of resources and the diligent implementation of the state's directive principles, policies, and constitutional responsibilities.
President Paudel reiterated the importance of adhering to the fundamental spirit and essence of the Constitution. He stressed that the Government must focus on implementing the constitutional provisions related to governance, equity, and development with dedication and effectiveness.
Expressing optimism about the Government's efforts, President Paudel stated, "I am confident that the Government of Nepal will remain proactive and committed to ensuring the gradual and effective implementation of constitutional directives to address the aspirations of the people for a developed and prosperous nation."
During the program, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli formally presented the Government’s annual report for the fiscal year 2080/81 to the President. The report highlighted the Government's efforts and achievements over the year, along with future plans to address key national challenges.
The presentation of the annual report serves as an important milestone in evaluating the Government's performance and setting the stage for strategic initiatives to meet the nation's developmental and constitutional goals.
