The streets of Kathmandu came alive early this morning as health-conscious citizens gathered at Narayan Chaur, Naxal for the much-anticipated ‘Walk for Health 2025’, a community-driven initiative aimed at promoting well-being and supporting the global movement for Universal Health.
Kicking off at 6:30 AM, the event witnessed an impressive turnout of participants from diverse backgrounds—young people, professionals, health workers, and community members—all united by a shared commitment to healthier living.
The event was organized by Lemon Tree Premier, with key support from Ultimate Venue Adventure & Events (Recreational Partner), HAMS Hospital (Medical Partner), and community organizations like the Budhanilkantha Youth Council and UNMS Unanimous.
On behalf of the organizing team, Aastha Thapa and Ashif Shrestha of Lemon Tree Premier expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took part. “We are truly grateful for the overwhelming response and energy of today’s walk. It’s inspiring to see our community come together to take a stand for health and wellness,” they shared.
The event underscored the importance of proactive health habits and fostered a collective spirit to support the global campaign for “Global Action for Universal Health.” Beyond just a morning walk, the initiative sparked meaningful conversations about mental, physical, and social well-being.
As one participant noted, “This isn’t just about walking—it’s about walking together towards a healthier and more connected future.”
With its powerful message and strong community backing, ‘Walk for Health 2025’ has set a hopeful tone for ongoing public health advocacy in Nepal and beyond.
