Pokhara, Nepal – Wildlife enthusiasts and conservation advocates gathered at Basundhara Park on April 14th and 15th, 2025, to celebrate Wildlife Week 2025. Organized by the International Forestry Students' Association (IFSA) Pokhara, the two-day event was a vibrant success, inspiring hundreds of attendees to take action for wildlife conservation under the theme “Protect wildlife, protect the future.”
The program featured a range of activities, including interactive educational sessions, fun games, and art exhibits that captured the importance of preserving Nepal’s diverse wildlife. Conservation experts delivered inspiring talks, sharing insights and strategies for protecting endangered species and fragile ecosystems. Attendees also had the chance to interact with environmental heroes and learn about ongoing conservation efforts.
Supported by organizations such as the Red Panda Network, Bunji Nepal, and other prominent environmental groups, the event showcased how communities can come together to make a meaningful impact on wildlife conservation.
