Kathmandu, April 20, 2025 – A five-day workshop focusing on enhancing research grant writing skills for faculty members and researchers concluded today at CERID Hall, Balkhu. Organized by the Research Centre for Educational Innovation and Development (CERID) under Tribhuvan University, the event was supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.
The workshop, held from April 16 to 20, aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to secure funding for impactful academic and scientific research. Attendees included academicians, scholars, and professionals representing various disciplines, showcasing the event's inclusive and interdisciplinary approach.
During the workshop, participants engaged in interactive sessions led by experts in the field of research and grant acquisition. Key topics covered included crafting compelling grant proposals, identifying suitable funding sources, and understanding the evaluation criteria used by grant-giving organizations.
